Not sure how it helps - I don't have any quantitative means, but like it. I have 2 - one in NYC another in Florida apartments I live. One toothbrush lost vibration - but as it was on warranty - I got replacement - free - fast, so customer service is good. I think it does the basic functions as prescribed and if those blue/red lights have some benefits, why not to please your teeth ...

The heads are fine. The toothbrush is just a standard electric toothbrush that lights up! It has not helped my receding gums.

Oralucent Replacement Brush Heads

First toothbrush lasted 6 months then died - wouldn't charge. Got a free replacement - and that one lasted about the same period of time - same issue. Not worth the money. Poor quality.

Save your money... There's nothing special about this toothbrush than any other toothbrush out there. No dramatic or even noticeable changes in whitening or health of teeth. Have had mine for over a year.

Store owner replied: We are sorry to hear it hasn't lived up to expectations after a year of use — that's disappointing, especially with a product priced at a premium. A few things that might help: • Results can vary a lot by starting point and habits. If teeth were already fairly clean/white, "dramatic" whitening often isn't visible even with effective products — the difference shows up more in overall gum health as well as staining prevention over time than a dramatic before/after. • Brush head age matters. If the brush head hasn't been replaced every 3 months, that alone could explain a lack of noticeable results — a worn head loses effectiveness if not replaced on a regular basis. Since it's been over a year, please reach out to customecare@oralucent.com and we can look up your order number or name and make this right, whether that's a replacement head or a discount on a future order.

I have had the Oralucent Toothbrush for almost a year now and am totally satisfied with it. Have had no problems with the brush at all, it holds a charge for a long time, and the tooth aching I was having prior to using it is gone. I can only assume it has something to do with this tooth brush, maybe the red and blue light component? I would highly recommend it to others, if for nothing more than to give it a try and see what happens.

Oralucent Replacement Brush Heads

I have been using my Oralucent toothbrush for about 6 months and liked the unique light features and extra whitening boost with the gel. However recently I had a severe mouth injury with swelling and bleeding. I was able to still use my Oralucent toothbrush because of the gentle brush action. My doctor was surprised at the healing. Both inside and outside of my mouth. The ability to still keep my mouth clean with the toothbrush along with the anti bacterial blue light combined with the healing red light I believe was the key. Highly recommend!
