I think it does the basic functions as prescribed and if those blue/red lights have some benefits, why not to please your teeth ...

First toothbrush lasted 6 months then died - wouldn't charge. Got a free replacement - and that one lasted about the same period of time - same issue. Not worth the money. Poor quality.
